The Anchor is my local and I love it, but each time I go, there seems to be fewer and fewer vegan items on the menu (it used to have a separate vegan menu). Other than a disappointing menu, the food was good.

Food was lovely & plenty on the menu to choose from, some of the chips were huge so a bit undercooked but we still enjoyed our meal.

Unfortunately , the singer last night was poor . Only those right in front of her would have heard that she was singing . Either her equipment was faulty or the acoustics in the pub aren’t suitable to have live music .

Excellent food and service as always. The cod with olives & capers on the specials board was divine.
