Just the thing for a cold February evening. A good meal. excellent Harveys Best Bitter. and a snugful of musicians knocking out jigs, hornpipes, waltzes & polkas.

We felt the seating was just right and there was space to move around. The only thing we can comment on is it would have been nice if, when we requested some water with our wine, it had arrived without three more reminders. Otherwise, everything was efficient and staff friendly.

Good food and friendly service with a warm greeting on arrival.
Lunch menu was varied. Great food and very good service, didn’t have to wait for long once order placed. Staff friendly and welcoming.
