Another excellent Sunday lunch at the Anchor. Absolutely nothing to fault, as we've come to expect. Good food, great atmosphere, lovely staff, all very relaxing.

Delicious food. We both enjoyed the pork which was succulent, cooked and prepared perfectly. Sad about the choice of deserts. We were looking forward to a crumble. Had to settle for sticky toffee pudding which was an OK substitute. Please bring back crumble and we will return most weekends

A group of us reserved the snug bar and had a fantastic evening. The food and particularly the service was excellent. Friendly and capable staff who made us feel well looked after. Thank you

Have eaten at the Anchor on many occasions this time very disappointed with our lunch, the chips were under done and dry plus not crispy the waffle was hard and doughy not enjoyable. Hopefully your food will improve but will not be returning for a while. On a positive point the service was very good.

A friendly place for a family lunch, well set out and efficiently run. We arrived dot on the opening time for lunchtime and would push that on in the future as it was chilly at this time of year. The food was delicious and the staff attentive and friendly.
