Tea and coffee included in quote, but had to reconfirm and stop individuals paying again. Some meals were cold. Mostly sent back but one person too shy to complain. Lasagne rather short on veg. Waiting staff exceptionally pleasant and accommodating.

Booked Anchor as there was options on Sunday lunch other than roast . I had a fish sharing platter (too myself) and it was epic! Fresh and delicious, my companion was very happy with her roast pork .. loved the open fire on a horrible day, pub has a lovely buzz and staff are very friendly, only tiny critisism is no bar service for drinks, had to wait a couple of mins for my lager to be delivered. Fabulous experience, big fan of your ploughman’s too..

We were a family group of 14 including 3 generations and we all agreed it was the best roast ever! The vegetarian roasts are so delicious which is rare to find. Warm and friendly service and atmosphere.
