Our Eighteen Acre Café has a stunning viewing balcony overlooking the ripening vines. It’s a great place for a spot of lunch or catching up with friends over a glass of award-winning wine. All our food is locally sourced and our chef serves up scrumptious dishes for brunch and lunch.  We've created a tasty menu you'll love; from warming winter dishes perfectly paired with our wines, to daily specials carefully created by our chefs with the freshest seasonal ingredients.

We are now taking table bookings from 19th May onwards. Unil then, we are operating a walk-in service only. Our cafe is open on Wednesday to Sunday from 9am – 4pm (food service stops at 3.30pm on Weds - Sat, and 3pm on Sun). On Monday and Tuesday we are open for take-away tea and coffee only.

Please note: All guests, including café and tour guests (with the exception of minors under the age of 11 and people with medical conditions that preclude them from wearing face coverings) are kindly asked to bring and wear face coverings when travelling through our shop area. We also ask that all visitors to Bolney follow government guidelines regarding COVID 19. As a result, only parties from the same household are permitted to book a single table in our café. Please note, all members of the party are required by law to register their own track and trace details. Find out more about this here.

Please note that you will have 2 hours for your table booking.

Very enjoyable lunch with friends who have not been before. Its not a complaint but the service was a bit slow though I could see the people there were doing their very best. Food very good though the specials came to the rescue of a slightly dull printed menu. But we just love it so don't take this as a complaint because its not.

Lovely staff, from the lady who went above and beyond to see if there had been any cancellations that day, to the very patient waiter - as we found it very hard to make decisions! Every effort was made to ensure we enjoyed our birthday celebrations, thank you

All fantastic though a bit suprised that Lycra clad cycles can eat and walk about in their cycling gear , wearing thief cycling shoes clattering around d the deck and restaurant. Also not too keen to sit at a table they had vacated as essentially they are in gym gear , working out in their bikes . Gyms are very particular that you don’t go into social areas in your gym clothes but the cyclists were very sweaty and dinners were expected to sit where they had been , not great infection control . It would be nicer if the cyclists sat downstairs and nit in the restaurant?

We had the wine tour. Inexplicably we were told not to wear masks inside, in a room where although distanced it was a closed environment yet asked to wear them outdoors ...the effect was that it ruined the tour...Nick the guide was clearly and visibly stressed and terribly hot under his visor...he kept slapping his hips and rushed it through clearly feeling uncomfortable about something. You Must do away with masks in the outdoors. Also a couple of benches in the middle of the field where we spent more than 30 minutes standing and listening to Nick would be strongly advised. Nick was knowledgeable and provided a lot of interesting information, was helpful and attentive and we had a great time indoors when he presented the wine tasting. I'm sure he and your visitors will appreciate my two pieces of advice above. Thanks.
