We had a table for four and couldn’t fault anything - delicious food, that was better than your average pub grub, very friendly and knowledgeable staff and a lovely environment. We were a little apprehensive as we had heard that the pub had changed hands - we needn’t have worried - it’s even better. Can’t wait to come back, especially as we’re local.

Excellent pub and restaurant situated in beautiful Pentrich. The menu offers some pub classics with a twist, and an ala carte menu with something on offer for everyone, including vegetarians. The food is fresh, well prepared and presented. The adjoining bar room has an open fire and very cosy atmosphere. Highly recommended!

As always, delicious food, courteous and attentive service with a smile, in a comfortable atmosphere. Love coming here as a treat. Only one grumble is the increased prices of desserts. Put us off ordering any, even though I know they're usually to die for! Will be back again!
