Fabulous food and lovely friendly staff. Wish we lived nearer as we would definitely be back on a regular basis, unfortunately we live 350 miles away .

Another good meal at the Hayloft, our first one for about a year. Would really recommend the Hake, it was excellent. My starter of the Duck Bacon and Egg was spoilt a little by a poorly poached egg (broken yoke), but was otherwise good. The posset dessert was also so moreish but probably not good for a calorie counter:-) However I would suggest they look at their tables. They weren't dirty but just incredibly sticky, not a pleasant experience. They did what they could to wipe them down but I think this is a common problem with some wooden tables, perhaps the cleaner reacts with the coating. Not good when your arms stick to it. That said though I would recommend a meal here and will be back in the future.
