Lovely breakfast served by pleasant and efficient staff. We always use the Owl Tearooms when we are in Holt !

Have been many times to the Owl for lunch or breakfast but was disappointed on this occasion. Had to send a quiche back as was only luke warm and the steak & kidney pie was also very dry inside. The baked beans themselves were quite hard and sitting in a watery sauce. Homemade maybe? Sorry didn’t work for me. Will continue to buy from bakery selection which is fantastic but not for a meal.

We came to the Owl every few months and always enjoyed the food - and it is still good - with the exception of the salad dressing, which we loved! This time the dressing was practically non-existent and a disappointment as we often ordered extra salad to get more dressing enjoyment!

Lovely lunch. We love the owl tea rooms. Some of the new staff are a bit 'serious'. Linda is lovely. She's been there for ages. Food is good. The salt beef sandwich is my favourite. Mum's steak and kidney pie was a little dry. But soup was nice.

Service was attentive and fast. I had prebooked and although early was shown to our table immediately. Lots of healthy food offerings as well as pastries sandwiches and cakes. Only slight gripe cutlery wasn't spotless, but I wiped with a clean napkin and all good I would definitely come again and liv3d the ability to PreBook so no guess work

We had the most fantastic afternoon tea. The sandwiches were delicious, scones light and fluffy and delicious cakes. My Mother was thrilled with everything and the primrose's were such a thoughtful touch. All the staff are just brilliant and so attentive. Well done everybody for giving my mum a wonderful experience...

Visited with friends, it was our first time, and hoped it was as good as the reviews suggested. Certainly the small shop area with loads of yummy cakes and pastries suggested we would enjoy a memorable visit, but that wasn't to be. It was 13:30 on a Saturday and two of our small group wanted jacket potatoes. 'Sorry we have run out of potatoes'. It happens of course, so you go to a supermarket or greengrocer and buy a load. It's a popular lunchtime dish, so running out is not an option. I had a very average cheese and ham sandwich, which was dar from memorable. Would we go back? Yes, but only for the shop, not the resteraunt.
