I came here with my parents for a mid morning cake and coffee. Was great to beable to book. We sat outside and it was so nice. All the staff were really nice. Cakes were amazing, my dad had the gourmet sausage roll and said it was so good. Thx ❤️

Disappointed with the carrot cake and the marmite crumpet was a bit of s frisbee. However we loved the cafe.

One thing - my friend and I sat at a corner table for two - nearly all the tables were vacant but a customer came in and was seated six inches from us totally unnecessarily. We coukdn5 have a private discussion and we were having a private catch up. I don’t know why cafes do this. Apart from that very good but pricey!

I called and booked in advance for 7 of us. On arrival we were 8. The charming young waiter said no problem and seated us in the garden. He (sorry don’t know his named) looked after us so very well and was an absolutely delightful person. The food itself was beautiful and so delicious. Will definitely be back when next in the area. Thanks again Chris

Perfectly listened and catered to dietary requirements. Brilliant, friendly service and a lovely time.

Crusts on Croque Monsieur inedible. So hard. I did mention this to the waitress, she said she would let the chef know, but I heard nothing more. The extra charge of £4.10 for the salad and crisp garnish was excessive for what was served. I would not eat at the Owl again and would not recommend.
