My daughter chose to come to the owl tea rooms for her birthday treat as she hadn’t been before, she really enjoyed it. The food was lovely as were the staff who were all super busy! We shall we return!

Lovely lunch and service at the Owl Tearoom as always. A little more room around tables would be helpful it did feel rather cramped from our last visit.

The food was nice. Price was good. We were on a table very close to other tables, including next to a long one with 8 people. The waitress couldn’t get between our table and the big table easily ( and even said ‘ I don’t know how I’m going to get through here) and half her body was on our table when she was trying to put the food on their table. When the people got up to leave they had to lean on our small table to get past. My chair backed into the chair from the other small table behind and I wasn’t comfortable asking him to push his chair in a bit as I had very little room. It was very cramped. We booked the table in advance so it was a shame we were so squashed in,.
The rooms were authentically pleasing , lovely and clean , tables were a little too near each other and conversations noisy and overheard if wanting quiet chats , cream tea scone a little hard and overbaked for the money and nothing special as have had better elsewhere , staff rushing about around tables.
