Reserved a table beforehand but a mix up when we arrived added some confusion. People on the next table also received or order/ not sure why? Lack of organisation in the place? Cheddar sandwich with chutney was very ordinary with a few crisps. Quiche Lorraine was tasty but served With a pile of coleslaw and a few lettuce leaves-disappointing. Service was friendly though. Had high hopes of this place but left very disappointed and went elsewhere for desserts. Very over priced.

Great food and lovely menu in friendly surroundings. Could do with an additional toilet though as one is enough for the number of customers

The cakes were dry and a bit disappointing but the drinks and service were excellent.

Had a fantastic breakfast with great service on Saturday. Sat in the garden which was lovely, the only challenge is customers who bring “over active dogs” in so perhaps consider tables for dog owners and some for those who do not have dogs.
Welcoming service throughout, a good range of reasonably priced food with Chocolate Cake a real winner!mHowever it is very small and incredibly noisy so that it is hard to hear at busy times. All the same it is good value and we will return before too long. A great Holt institution
