Amazing food - all cooked and freshly prepared on the premises. Staff so welcoming Definitely worth visiting - and a lot better value than the ‘go to’ place in Holt!

I have always enjoyed the food but not this time. The cheese on toast was very dry and egg hard. Not your usual standard. I gently told the waitress who said she would pass my comments on.As I left I asked her if she had spoken to chef and she said she had spoken to ? Who would speak to ? .Felt very dissatisfied as thought someone would acknowledge me. !!! Veronica Jones

I have been promising to drop in for lunch and we did. Luckily I booked first, as usual it was very busy and because of rain nobody wanted to sit outside. We ordered coffee and Salt Beef toasted sandwiches. My friend an ex US citizen felt they were the best she had ever had, let’s face it she should know coming from the home of salt beef treats. The coffee was good, the sour dough bread was fresh, lovely when toasted . It came with loads of beef and gherkins. Delicious ! Sadly it left no room for cake. Not everything was lost though, we went home with bags of goodies purchased on our way out of the cake shop. We will be back.
