Excellent food as always. Such a lovely menu. Lots of options for not wanting bread. Well done.

The coffees and hot chocolate were excellent; however, the banana cake and ginger cake were unfortunately rather dry.

I felt the tables were to close together, ended up standing on another customers food as I went to my table. Milkshake was not as good as normal and had a funny taste - chocolate sauce was to sweet and was not as thick as they were before. Prices are very high for portion size but overall food was very good as normal. Bought some cakes on way out and they are still as good as ever just very expensive.

What a lovely place. Had a wonderful breakfast and the lady that served us was a delight. Great end to our holiday.

I go to the Owl quite frequently but had not visited since December. I had the chilli and didn’t tho k it was as flavoursome and instead of minced beef it was large chunks of beef which wasn’t very tasty. Also the temper of the food was only lukewarm warm and not hot so maybe that may have been why. I like my food hot. I bought some quiche to bring home and the quiche was nice but we struggled to find any ham in it. I know the restaurant trade is suffering but cutting corners means you risk losing custom.

We had the most fantastic afternoon tea. The sandwiches were delicious, scones light and fluffy and delicious cakes. My Mother was thrilled with everything and the primrose's were such a thoughtful touch. All the staff are just brilliant and so attentive. Well done everybody for giving my mum a wonderful experience...
